A few weeks ago some friends and I decided to venture out to the local attraction called Africam Safari.  It is an enclosed area where animals from Africa and the Americas are allowed to roam free (within reason) and cars are allowed to drive through and view them.  The theory is that this set up is more humane than a zoo and the park raises money for protecting wildlife around the world.  After careful observation on our tour we decided it was more like a big zoo than anything, but it was interesting and we all had a lot of fun.
